Scanning fairsheets
to Generate raster format:
HSA has its own large format greyscale scanner that can capture the fairsheet
document and output in a number of standard raster formats.
Meta-data tagging: Fairsheet documents can have associated metadata
populated (ie title, date, scale, spheroid, projection, control points).
Capture of soundings from raster fairsheets: HSA has developed efficient capture and QC tools to ensure soundings are spatially correct. In particular we have developed processes to capture soundings from poor quality manually generated fairsheets. Soundings can be output in a variety of vector formats.
