S-57 ENC Production

HSA has been involved
with the development of S-57 and S-52 since 1991 through involvement with
the various IHO working groups and development of its own ECS and ECDIS
technologies.
One of the outcomes of the early development work has been the ability
to create and maintain S-57 ENC data since 1993. HSA currently maintains
over 70 ENC data sets for national HO's. HSA has migrated many of the
data sets through versions of S-57 and uses the best tools in the market
place to capture, maintain and validate S-57 ENC data.
HSA has its own S-57 ENC Producing Agency code and its skilled ENC cartographers
can produce and maintain S-57 data on behalf of an HO or other clients.
HSA's knowledge and experience in the production and maintenance of S-57
ENC data is the the driving force behind the S-57 validation tool, ENC
Analyzer, jointly produced by HSA and 7Cs.
HSA is currently developing the capability to encrypt S-57 ENC data in
accordance to the new IHO Encryption Specification (S-63).
