Chart Compilation

Since 1998, HSA has compiled over 150 navigational charts for publishing by national hydrographic authorities. These charts have been compiled to INT standards and aren’t just simple conversions.
The compilation task normally is to create official paper chart products however more and more derived RNC's and S-57 ENC’s are also being produced.
Chart compilation is performed within HSA's Quality Management System (QMS) that is accredited to ISO 9001:2000.
A skilled team of cartographers have extensive compilation experience with compiling various scale new charts and new editions with a variety of source data in various formats.
Experience in different geographic locations e.g. Papua New Guinea , Antarctica , Australia , New Zealand enables HSA's cartographers to have a good appreciation of the differences in source and chart presentation requirements.
