SevenCs of Hamburg Germany is known internationally as “The ECDIS Company”.   They have developed a range of products to produce, maintain and manage ENC's. HSA and SevenCs have partnered to add new capability to the ENC Tools suite with ENC Analyzer and ENC Cartographer.

ENC Tools is a suite of efficient and cost effective applications for the compilation, production, quality assurance, maintenance and distribution of S-57 Electronic Navigation Charts and paper nautical charts. It also handles extensions to the standard for Additional Military Layers (AML) and Inland ECDIS. ENC Tools are used by more than 25 national charting authorities and many contracted ENC production agencies.

ENC Tools can be purchased as a total production solution or as standalone modules. The suite of consists of:

ENC Designer enables the quick and efficient creation and maintenance of Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) in IHO S-57 format. AML and Inland ECDIS modules area also available.

ENC Analyzer provides for quality assurance of S-57 Electronic Navigation Chart (ENC) data sets against a set of over 600 rules, including support for the IHO S-58 standard, AML and Inland ECDIS.

ENC Optimizer ensures that the Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) you have produced or are maintaining optimised for use in ECDIS systems.

ENC Manager generates and manages exchange sets (CATALOG.030, CATALOG.031) and the ENC update cycle. ENC Manager comes packaged with the ENC Designer Enterprise version.

ENC Cartographer enables you to generate INT1/INT2 paper charts from S-57 Electronic Navigation Chart (ENC) data sets.
