ENC Cartographer - S57 ENC to INT1 Paper Chart production suite

ENC Cartographer is the latest member of the SevenCs ENC Tools family, giving you the ability to create and maintain INT1/INT2 compliant paper charts from an S-57 ENC data source. The application uses the geometry and the associated object and attribute combinations to create the paper chart equivalent of the feature encoded in the ENC.

There is considerable effort put into the compilation, encoding and quality control of an ENC. To use this effort to make paper charts allows you to offer a raster/paper product to your customers as well the ability to keep the two products closely aligned. ENC Cartographer can be used in your chart production and maintenance facility and can also be used to create special purpose high or low run chart products. The final chart products can be saved in a Bitmap, TIFF, SVG format or sent directly to a plotter/printer.

ENC Cartographer operates in two modes: scheming and editing. Scheming mode allows the scale, projection, extents, plan/s and or insets to be set out and populated. Finer cartographic work that is difficult or impossible to automate is carried out in edit mode.

ENC Cartographer loads S-57 base and update cells so it can be operated stand alone or as an integrated member of the ENC Tools suite.

ENC Cartographer Demonstration Software
A fully functional demonstration version is available, this version is locked to the UK Hydrographic Office’s, Micklefirth ENCs/chart.
