HSA Systems greatly values the long and trusting relationships we have with our clients and we respect the privacy of our current and prospective clients as they utilise our online facilities.

The following describes how HSA addresses on-line privacy issues.

Your personal information: what do we collect, and how do we use it?

• We do not collect personal information when you visit our site unless you contact us regarding a sales or support inquiry.
• When you place an order you will be asked for the following personal information: your name, e-mail address, mailing address, delivery address and any special delivery instructions and phone number. We may share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order.
• We do not share, sell, rent, barter, or communicate in any manner any identifiable personal information to any third parties.
• When you submit feedback or questions via e-mail or contact us for information about our Web site, we will request your name and e-mail address. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiries.
• Our site contains links to other sites. HSA is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other Web sites.
• By default all web server log files capture IP addresses. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our web site and to track web usage. This information is used internally and is not shared with anyone else.

If the Federal Government introduces new privacy legislation HSA Systems privacy policies will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information sent from a Web server to your computer. We do not use cookies for marketing, promotional or advertising purposes, nor do we use cookies to track your Internet activity before or after you leave HSA. Any activity while you are at www.hsa.com.au may be monitored.

Your computer will only store a maximum of 2KB of cookies. They are deleted on a first in first out basis. No other company has access to our cookies. 

Emails from HSA Systems

HSA doesn’t send out unsolicited emails to clients or potential clients.

We do send out emails to clients who have registered their details with us following purchase of HSA products and to advise of software bug fixes or/and updates.

We do send out email responses to specific client requests for support or sales information.

Security

HSA’s on line “Shop” currently only supports purchases by downloading an order form and submitting that order form by regular mail, Fax, or as an attachment to an email. Disclosure of client credit card details is at the discretion of the purchaser and HSA is happy to accept follow up credit card details over the phone. To date HSA has not encountered a credit card fraud of any kind.

HSA does support on line purchases by credit card transactions to its “Chart Shop”. HSA adds security by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This means that the credit card information you send is encrypted by your computer, and then decrypted again on our side, preventing others from accessing your private information in between. So, when using an SSL capable browser, shopping on HSA’s “Chart Shop” web site is the safest kind of transaction possible with a credit card.

HSA doesn’t retain credit card information once the transaction has been completed and doesn’t under any circumstances communicate your credit card to third parties.
