HSA Systems Pty Ltd and the Western Australian Department for Planning and Infrastructure have worked together to produce a digital series of their paper charts. HSA Systems using the Raster Data Centre converted the paper charts into an electronic charting format (similar to the Royal Navy's ARCS and Australian Hydrographic Service's Seafarer Raster Chart products). This format integrates licencing and encryption to protect data/image/meta-data integrity. It also protects against replication and unauthorised use. This format is compatible with accredited Electronic Chart Systems including: Endeavour®, C-Plot, MaxSea, OceanVision, Seafarer® Viewer and Transas® Navi-Sailor.
